Why blog about reading? Isn't that just creating more diversions for readers who should be reading literature and not blogs? Maybe so.....but just maybe I will bring something new to readers and provide a place for readers to share what they love and why they love it. I plan to read more this year than ever and I hope this blog will keep me on track. Inspired by Julie and Julia, who cooked (and read) her way through Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking, I plan to read through the classics I should have read by now, but haven't.
